Autostill™, AutoFour Range of Water Stills

A range of fully automatic horizontal boiler water stills, producing ultra-pure, pyrogen-free distillates.

  • Flow regulator automatically sets and maintains correct water flow rate
  • Fully automatic operation with ‘switch-off’ of water and heaters when distillate reservoir is full
  • Borosilicate glassware and silica sheathed heaters
  • Boilers protected by two independent thermal cut-outs
  • Efficient condenser design gives cool distillates
  • Zinc-plated steel casing has excellent corrosion resistance
  • For bench or wall mounting

Autostill™, AutoFour
A competitive distillation unit producing 4 litres/hr of ultra-pure, pyrogen-free distillate from any potable water supply. The boiler is designed to minimise cleaning requirements and features a by-pass flushing arrangement to simplify acid cleaning.

Autostill™, AutoFour WS
The AutoFour WS is similar to the AutoFour, but has its own water-softener to prevent the formation of scale in the boiler, eliminating the need for periodic boiler cleaning. Regeneration of the softener is easy and inexpensive, merely requiring flushing through with sodium chloride solution

Autostill™, AutoFour D-Ionstill 4 Litre
The D-Ionstill is designed for connection to any standard laboratory deioniser, to produce an exceptionally high-purity distillate. The Autostill™ controls the flow of water from the deioniser, conserving deionised water – tap water is used to cool the condenser. Since deionised water is used the boiler should never require cleaning.

Autostill™, AutoFour D-Ionstill 8 Litre
A larger, twin boiler version of the D-Ionstill, producing 8 litres/hr of ultra pure, pyrogen-free distillate.

† Conductivity at 25°C with dissolved CO2 removed from distillate. Any ultra pure water in contact with the atmosphere has a conductivity of 1-2 µs/cm and pH 5, due to a small amount of CO2 (0.5ppm) absorbed from the atmosphere. Deionisers and similar systems measure conductivity before the water contacts the atmosphere and absorbs CO2 (during collection and use). As distillates are already open to the atmosphere before measurements can be made, it is necessary to remove this CO2 to provide a comparable conductivity value.
