UVItec Ultraviolet Crosslinker CL 508, 365nm (long) wavelength
Ultraviolet crosslinking of DNA and RNA to nylon
or nitrocellulose membranes is well established as a
laboratory technique, saving considerable time when compared
with conventional vacuum oven baking- seconds or minutes as opposed
to hours.
The UVI-link CL 508 UV crosslinker provides a compact
unit occupying minimum bench space with a footprint of
only 350x350mm and a spacious interior chamber of 270x300x140mm.

The UV energy is continuously monitored by a microprocessor-controlled,
photo feedback system which compensates for variation
in UV output associated with tube aging. In this way consistency
of operation and maximum efficiency is maintained. The correct UV
dosage can be set using the membrane switch keypad, in either energy
units (Joules) or time (seconds). There are nine presets for time
exposure as well as operator selection manual control.
